I agree that overtraining with weights is more brutal than overtraining with cardio. With cardio you can just back off for a day or two and then you are good...with weights it can lead to a chronic state that takes much more time to repair.

Also good point that it isn&#039;t just about how often or how long you train. If it is too intense it will wear you down as well. Some guys think it is just a time thing...but intensity can do the same thing.
